As the veil grows thin, you are invited to take your seat at the table. 🕯️ This Samhain, Hex & Hair, The Mackenzie Collective & Valkyrie Dreams Studio invite you to Samhain: Spirit Masquerade- an intimate, immersive evening of ancestral remembrance, ritual, seasonal celebration, and sacred connection at a private residence in Virginia Beach. On October 31st, only 25 guests will step into a candlelit world of lanterns, fire, masks, autumn abundance, ancestral offerings, and Samhain tradition. Samhain marks the final harvest and the threshold into the darker half of the year- a time traditionally associated with honoring our ancestors, gathering in community, and acknowledging the cycles of death, transformation, and rebirth. We created Spirit Masquerade not simply to teach these traditions, but to give you a space to experience them. Throughout the evening, you'll paint mini pumpkins, decorate ritual brooms, enjoy seasonal food and drinks, and contribute to a communal ancestor altar. Each guest is invited to bring one small item representing an ancestor or passed loved one they wish to honor. At 7:30 PM, we'll gather around our candlelit table for a traditional Dumb Supper. Each guest will have an opportunity to name who they're inviting to the table and share a remembrance before we enter 15 minutes of intentional silence together. At 9:30 PM, we'll gather around two ceremonial bonfires for a guided Samhain ritual, honoring what has passed, what remains, and what we're carrying with us into the next season. Finally, we'll close our night with a lantern-lit walk, symbolically crossing the threshold back into the ordinary before Spirit Masquerade concludes at 11:11 PM. 🎭 Costumes are encouraged! Think Samhain, witchy, masquerade, gothic, ancestral, folklore, or whatever makes you feel magical. Your $111 ticket includes the full 5:30–11:11 PM experience, seasonal dinner, desserts & drinks, creative activities and supplies, ancestor altar, Dumb Supper, guided ritual, bonfire ceremony, take-home creations, and a few surprises along the way.
